Job Description

Essential Functions:

1
Utilizes knowledge, skill and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care.

Participates in patient/family/staff education.

Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities.

Maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.

Secondary Functions: All other duties required by Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Skills:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. .

Current BLS required

NIHSS within 3 months

o
COAP within 3 months - in all areas

þ
ACLS within 3 months

þ
Color blind testing

þ
ABG Training within 3 months

Other experience/technical skills as assigned

Licensure:
Current Texas or Compact State RN licensure

Experience:
2 years experience in Hemodialysis preferred
