Job Description
Summary


River Rock Food Server Aquarius (Laughlin, NV) Description:


Places food and beverage orders, delivers items to tables and ensures guests enjoy their visit to the coffee shop.


Essential Functions And Responsibilities


  • Maintains knowledge of all restaurant menu options and answers guests’ questions about the menu.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Communicates regularly with on-coming shift staff and the chef on duty to address issues and concerns.
  • Delivers food to guests, ensuring that the proper order was received and that beverages are refilled.
  • Attends training classes required by management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Takes accurate food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve food and beverage orders to guest tables according to venue specifications and to engage with guests in a professional courteous and efficient manner and complete side work.
  • Ensures that all food is served within health, safety and sanitation guidelines.


Requirements


Qualifications


  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Six months of related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Verify right to work in the United States

  • Constantly walk, stand, and use of hearing and vision
  • Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and/or chest levels, and over head
