Summary


Provides thought leadership to Key Account organization and broader ACCB organization in shaping PRGM (Planning Revenue Growth Management) direction ACCB takes in marketplace.


Responsibilities


  • Partners with Key Account/Commercial teams to ensure all contract funding activities are captured in annual and forecasted plan.
  • Accruals cover all expected investments for the year.
  • Partners with Commercial Team to analyze/quantify the success of ACCB's annual commercial plan for all categories within assigned retailers.
  • Utilize forecasting data incorporating historical trends, seasonality and other factors that drive the performance of our business and communicates bottoms-up forecast with top-down perspective on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Remote position with some travel (once or twice a month, a couple days at a time)
  • Develops package & promotion recommendations/opportunities in collaboration with Key Account and Commercial Teams.
  • Achieve forecast accuracy targets for assigned customer base.
  • Establishes and leads effective routines and processes with Key Account teams to gather feedback and incorporate subject matter expertise into the forecasts.
  • Develop and validate ideas for closing category specific gaps to plan (price/promotion, innovation, acceleration initiatives).
  • Provides strategic forward-thinking and identifies key critical business opportunities through analysis for assigned Retail Customers to validate assumptions and make recommendations to ACCB Key Account and RGM managers.
  • Evaluates & interprets forecasted results to identify gaps or opportunities against category plan and provide key insights and recommendations to Key Account teams
  • Analyzes actual performance vs. forecasted performance to drive continuous improvement within the models and processes.
  • Supports Key Accounts through collaboration with BSNA to manage individual customer checkbooks, updating and managing individual spends to the checkbooks, and suggesting changes to accrual rates by package to ensure
  • Develop and present business reviews leveraging multiple data sources and company resources to tell business story.
  • Partners with Key Account teams to develop annual budget following ACCB defined commercial planning & pricing strategies for assigned channels to deliver ACCB and retailer DNGP/Margin requirements.


Qualifications


  • Self-motivated team player who can work in a diverse, fast paced environment that thrives on challenging problems.
  • Prioritization - managing multiple and complex priorities.
  • Knowledge of Consumer Packaged Goods and syndicated data (Nielsen/IRI/Numerator)
  • Communication - excellent written and verbal skills and ability to clearly articulate relevant ideas, opinions, and information
  • Financial Planning and Budgeting experience preferred.
  • B.A. degree in Business
  • Leadership - strong leadership skills
  • Process knowledge - strategic thinking, financial planning, forecasting, and modeling
  • 5+ years of professional experience with demonstrated progression responsibilities preferably with a Consumer Package Goods company.
  • Demonstrated experience working under pressure and managing multiple projects at once with flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines.
  • Problem solving - identify errors/gaps in processes/reporting and identify solutions.
  • High understanding of Retail and Wholesale Pricing & RGM principles including Price Elasticities.
  • Analytical skills - extremely strong analytical skills with ability to draw insights from data; ability to develop volumetric and financial models that can accommodate multiple inputs from diverse data sources for scenario planning and modeling.
  • Project Management - ensure the timely completion of designated objectives.
  • Strong Technical knowledge - ERP systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office (SQL, Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), Power Pivot, Power BI, and Tableau. Proven ability to handle and process large quantities of data.
  • Collaboration - ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
