Respiratory Therapist - 2Nd Shift, Full-Time - $ 31.00/Hr-$ 42.50/Hr

Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON):

• Performs and analyzes diagnostic tests, conducts relevant assessments, and determines plans for treatment
• Assists residents diagnosed with pulmonary disorders and controls patient blood-oxygen accordingly
• Sets up and utilizes necessary cardiopulmonary equipment (and supplies) to assist / monitor resident breathing function, per physician orders and plans of care

Qualifications/Requirements

• Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), COVID-19 vaccination is required, with exceptions for medical and religious accommodations when reasonable
• Current State of Iowa Respiratory Care Practitioner license
• Experience with various types of ventilators and tracheotomy treatments preferred

Additional Information

Shift: 2nd Shift, Flex Scheduling; approx. thirty (30) hours/wk

Weekend Package Option: Yes

Base Wage: $36.00/hr (RRT) and $29.00/hr (CRT), Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/hr per year up to 10 (ten) years

2nd / 3rd Shift Differential: $2.00/hr

Weekend Package Incentive Pay: $3.00/hour
