Responsibilities include:
  • Complete understanding of the materials process to include:
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment
o Schedule inbound deliveries
o Knowledge to secure trailer for loading/unloading.
o Document, resolve turnbacks
o Process OS&D, file freight claims
o Following standard work for your area of responsibility.
o Knowledge to cycle count drive discrepancy to RRCA
o Locating methodologies.
o Understand and execute all materials JDE transactions in area.
o Coordinate the shipments of service parts.

o Create standard work and work instruction.
o Recommend improvements consistently striving for efficient and effective methodologies.
  • Strong leadership skills
o Train new employees, manage workflow and coordinate manpower.
o Knowledge to perform incident investigations to include EH&S, 5S and forklift observations.
o Coordinate special projects
o Effectively problem solve, communicate effectively and consistently.
o Fill in for supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Maintain departmental quality standards
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Must have 4 years of experience in a logistics environment
