Residential Solar Installer Jobs

Baker Electric Home Energy is looking for Residential Solar Installers in the San Diego market area. As a Residential Solar Installer you will be a vital part of our installation team and the entire profitability of the company. In this role you’ll be involved in working in a team environment installing residential solar on customer’s homes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete system start-up and diagnosis
• Depending on experience, lead and mentor crews
• Ensure accurate and timely PV installations
• Inverter, module, and conduit installation
• Perform trenching, ground and roof mounts

EDUCATION, SKILL, EXPERIENCE OF SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES:

• 3-5 years of combined experience as a Solar Installer and/or Electrician
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Experience running a crew
• Attention to detail and safety
• This position will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon receiving a job offer
• Able to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to work in a warehouse/rooftop environment

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate for this position is based on the local I.B.E.W. union rates. Other benefits may apply. For those not already part of the I.B.E.W union we will facilitate joining.
