How you can make an Impact Our Residential Service Program offers a continuum of housing for the acutely and chronically mentally ill with supervised residences. Our purpose is to help those suffering from severe mental illness to live in the least restrictive setting that is compatible with their level of functioning. As a Residential Counselor in our Adult Residential Program, you will provide for the safety and security of adult clients within the residential setting by promoting a healthful and supportive environment. Assist with skills training and daily living responsibilities. Uphold ethical standards in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics. Work closely with the residential nurse, supervisor and director in the implementation of adult individualized rehabilitation treatment goals. Collaborate with Acenda team members and external supports to enhance independence. Preferred is a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in a mental health, health or other appropriate human services related discipline with k nowledge of and experience with the chronic mentally ill adult population. Professionalism and a commitment to excellence in care Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Residential Counselor Responsibilities Establish and maintain positive relationships with residents, fostering a supportive and caring environment. Provide assistance and guidance to residents in daily living activities, including personal care, meal planning, and household chores. Implement and monitor individualized treatment plans, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social well-being or residents. Facilitate group activities and therapeutic programs that promote skill development, socialization, and community integration. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of residents' progress, incidents, and any significant observations. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including residential supervisor, nurse, director, and medical professionals. Schedules Available:

• FT - Tuesday through Saturday 4:00pm to 12:00am
• Friday and Saturday 4:00pm to 12:00am
• FT - Sunday through Thursday 4:00pm to 12:00am
