Job Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following in a research setting:

• Providing instruction on methods and techniques needed to conduct psychological research
• Formulating appropriate research questions and hypotheses pertinent to the area of interest
• Helping to prepare scientific publications and eventual grant application
• Disseminating your findings at departmental workshops, academic conferences, and in appropriate journals.
• Defining best evaluation metrics
• Surveying the literature to identify gaps in existing knowledge
• Completing and submitting grant applications to obtain additional funding as needed
• Ensuring consistent adherence to ethical guidelines governing the study of human participant
• Work and help administrate psychological workgroup for TKIP program
• Administering psychological tests (i.e., personality, performance, or aptitude tests), Conducts interviews, distributing and analyzing questionnaires and surveys. Will also interpret results and associate with clinical application
• Provides input at start up, as needed throughout the study for protocol improvement, and will be readily available for urgent patient/protocol related correspondence

• Master’s degree required, PhD preferred

• Research experience preferred
• Experience in the administration of questionnaire
• Knowledge of Orthopaedic and/or Rheumatologic terminology is a plus.
• Proficient use of computers and software
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and Good Technology Practice
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting or equivalent training
