Research Data Analyst - - Dc

DescriptionThe Research Data Analyst will work closely with senior staff to generate both statistical and graphical analysis of research data. This individual must understand clinical research as well as biostatistical and epidemiological methods and be able, with guidance, to choose the appropriate methods and analysis to address the needs of the research questions. S/he must be knowledgeable about the assumptions underlying each analytic method and must be able to provide an interpretation of the results.

QualificationsMinimum Education
Bachelor's Degree .
Minimum Work Experience
3 years At least 3 years of progressive experience with statistical programming and analysis as well as demonstrated knowledge and experience with data management. .
Required Skills/Knowledge
In depth knowledge and experience with at least one of the following statistical packages: SAS, SPSS, STATA.

• Expertise in biostatistics and epidemiology to enable the person to choose appropriate methods to address research questions.

• Implement chosen methods to ensure underlying assumptions are met.

• Review results and provide a written interpretation of each result.

• Prepare tables, graphs, and written descriptions for incorporation into publications.
