Summary:

We are searching for a Research Assistant - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will participate in research activities which may include subject recruitment, confirmation of subject eligibility, informed consent process, completion of case report forms, data clarification, IRB preparations and medical record abstraction, data collection.

Qualifications
Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any booster dose(s) of the COVID-19 vaccine recommended by the Centers for Disease Control when eligible, is required for all employees at Texas Children's, unless approved for a medical or religious exemption.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Knowledge of the following may be needed: REDCap and SPSS
  • 1-year research experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Coordinates day-to-day activities of the project to ensure all goals are met
  • Prepares data analysis tables and figures, and charts necessary for professional data display
  • Completes data collection and data entry activities
  • Supports study coordination in collaboration with the PI
  • Participates in data collection for research projects
  • Supports clinical research studies through completion of patient consent and enrollment
  • Coordinates annual report for department
  • Assists in development of REDCap database
  • Maintains data files for projects coordinated by the department
  • Works with designated lead to complete IRB submissions, subject recruitment, data entry and analysis
