Research Assistant Jobs

Dr. Catherine McBride at Purdue University seeks to hire a full-time research assistant and a part-time student helper starting ASAP. The positions will be based at Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana. The successful candidates will participate in different aspects of research in literacy development in children including administrative assistance, participants recruitment and project coordination.

Preferred qualifications:

• Skills:
• A major in psychology, Human Development and Family Studies, Speech, Language, and Hearing Science, or related fields.
• Ability to work in-person on Purdue's main campus in West Lafayette, IN.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate to build relationships with individuals at all levels within the lab.
• Ability to support researchers, deal with administrative tasks, balance multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Prior research experience.
