Our Project Management Office (PMO) team is responsible for the successful operations, execution, and governance of projects, continuous improvement, and organizational administrative support to our teams across the region. We are looking for an organized, creative, and highly-driven Reseach & Reporting PMO who will be responsible for developing thorough analyses and briefing materials on key issues. This is the role for you if you are passionate about providing deep insights through extensive research to inform leadership views and executive decision making and long-term strategy. You will be expected to work autonomously, take action on urgent priorities, and act with a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Develop thorough analyses and briefing materials on key issues, policies and individuals of relevance to the company and its leadership team
- Conduct extensive research to identify industry trends, new business opportunities, and competitor strategies to support executive-level decision making and deliver it in compelling and well-synthesized reports
- Develop comprehensive research reports to be presented to executive level leadership on a variety of imperative topics
- Proactively identify key issues the company should be examining; research reliable sources and interesting angles on these issues
- Collaborate and communicate frequently with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of working experience in policy research, consulting, tech strategy, or tech journalist
- Strong passion and extensive experience & knowledge in the tech and media industries
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines under minimum supervision
- Deep curiosity, detail oriented, with a strong desire to understand and synthesize "how the dots connect"
- Ability to communicate effectively and express complex ideas succinctly
- Ability to interpret business data in order to provide strategy recommendations
- Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and work under pressure
- Team player with a strong positive attitude and a great sense of commitment
