Desired Skills and Experience:

- 10 years of experience managing and coordinating research teams and studies

- 5+ years of experience maintaining compliance, budget management, and submitting Grant Proposals and post award management

- Excellent communication and writing skills

- Ability to multitask and work on multiple research programs at once

- Knowledge of federal and state laws related to research

- Strong project planning, relationship building and presentation skills

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Research Administrator to join one of our Institutional Research client in New Orleans, LA. This individual will support the Biochemistry & Molecular Biology department and focus on multidisciplinary grants and work intensive with faculty on research programs. This individual needs to be confident with Pre and Post Award work, work with faculty investigators in a wide variety of disciplines including basic scientists, clinician scientists, analysts and other researchers. Primary duties include operations, budgets, compliance, development, marketing/strategy, and personnel. Other duties include co-writing and funding grants submissions. This position will sit onsite and direct placement.
