This position will oversee all repacking operations for MEC. This will include the internal operation at our Rialto facility. This position will be expected to evaluate positions, quality and efficiency. Will assist in the development of new packages and methods to be more efficient.
Essential Job Functions:
Coordination and production of repacking lines at the Rialto facility
Manage repack operations and all repack employees
Labor planning for all projects associated with the repacking operations/lines
Machine specifications and settings are standardized to ensure quality packaging
Travel to suppliers to evaluate processes and ensure integrity of MEC product
Manage employee training and safety while on the line
Machine operation and coordination with local vendor for service and Preventative Maintenance (PM) requirements
Coordinate with internal operations to ensure operation is capable and prepared to support new projects, as needed.
Position Requirements:
Preferer five to seven years of warehouse or repacking line supervisory experience
Strong Verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in collaborative cross-functional team environments.
Must be well organized.
Working knowledge of SAP
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook
Ability to work independently and with limited direction.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Salary Range: $22.00- $33.00hr
