Rental Housing Default Servicing Specialist

This important role will be primarily responsible for processing within the servicing system the internal and external funds coming in and out of the Rental Housing Servicing department. This position processes and maintains our accounting system for payments from mortgagors, management agents, attorneys, federal, state and local sources for all of the Virginia Housing rental portfolio. They will contact customers on delinquent accounts via email, phone and mailings.

To be successful in this role you must possess:

• Detailed-oriented with excellent customer service, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business or real estate, preferred
• A few years' experience working in real estate finance and/or servicing in the rental (multifamily) industry or equivalent.

The ideal candidate would also have some knowledge of McCracken Strategy software and knowledge of eDocs records management.

Hiring Range: $51,562 - $67,030
