Job Description

We are working with a nationwide energy company, with a growing renewable energy division, to find a Renewable Energy Market Analyst to join their team!


Please note: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will primarily work from the comfort of your own home with occasional days in the office. Some travel to project sites will be required.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare forecasting models to identify renewable energy, renewable fuels and carbon trading opportunities
  • Support investment decisions
  • Research and analyze trends in the renewable energy, renewable fuels and carbon markets
  • Monitor & track environmental credits including Renewable Identification Numbers (RIN) and Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS)
  • Present verbal, written & visual market trend and forecast model presentations


Requirements:

  • Financial modeling experience
  • R, Python, SQL, VBA knowledge is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (renewable energy credits, renewable fuels, or carbon markets)
