Remote/Part-Time- Social Media Copywriter/Designer

Our client, an East Coast based marketing agency, is looking to identify some additional Social Media Copywriting/Design help!

This role would offer fully remote flexibility (an ability to support EST meetings/communication is mandatory) and would ebb/flow, allowing 5-10 hours of work per week.

Our client supports a variety of corporations in different industries, so we are specifically targeting talent that possess social media copywriting abilities and social media design experience within similar fast pace/client driven environments.

We are looking for a Social Media Copywriter/Designer hybrid to create dynamic copy and visuals for our client's social media pages.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent web content writing skills, general design and experience advertising on multiple social networks.

Ultimately, you will ensure we maintain a strong online voice and brand consistent with our client's marketing goals.

Responsibilities

• Track and report on social media insights (traffic, engagement, shares, conversion rates)
• Design appealing images/visuals and videos to complement text via Canva
• Update our social media pages with compelling company news
• Optimize social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviors
• Write, edit and publish engaging posts for various social networks, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Requirements and skills

• Familiarity with online paid advertising
• Ability to deliver creative web content (text, image and video)
• Excellent communication skills
• BSc in Marketing, Communications or relevant field
• Proven work experience as a Social Media Copywriter or similar role
• Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise
