Remote Ecommerce Product Owner

Position: Product Owner

Location: REMOTE (EST/CST only)

Duration: Permanent

Must Haves:

• Expertise in business analysis, product management, project management and/or software application development
• Bachelor's degree in business or IT related field
• 5+ years of analyst experience in direct retail, eCommerce, or consulting environment
• Expertise in developing business requirements and defining user acceptance criteria
• A track record of achieving successful business outcomes related to Digital and/or Omni-Channel Product management
• Strong working knowledge of relevant Agile tools JIRA, Confluence, etc.

Day to Day:

• Collaborate with the development team in the product design and software development process
• Collaborate in identifying areas of improvement
• Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements and work closely with development to oversee and approve product designs, enhancements, and quality
• Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements continuously and maintain systems processes, including delivering status reports to all appropriate parties
• Coordinate and monitor technical projects from initiation through delivery
• Writing detailed functional requirements, workflows, use cases, and training materials
• Act as the main point of contact between cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Partner with other stakeholder teams across business departments to develop necessary analysis and documentation collaboratively, communicating effectively and efficiently with production, managerial, and executive teams
• Strategize and present ideas to stakeholders
• Manage and prioritize a backlog of work specific to the project so the development team can plan, estimate, and allocate resources appropriately
• Understanding complex business needs and translating them into detailed, executable functional requirements
• Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with stakeholders, keeping them informed of key issues and engaged throughout project lifecycles
• Work closely with end users to analyze, define, model, and document requirements
• Collaborate on creating test cases and working with Quality Assurance in the areas of auditing and testing
• Be available to the development team to address ongoing questions, concerns, and feedback. Being actively engaged with the team to help build the best product possible
• Keep customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product
• Assist the eCommerce team in meeting the objectives of each release cycles
