Job Description
ControllerJoin our dynamic team as a Controller and play a vital role in driving financial success for our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for financial operations and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. This is the perfect opportunity for a driven individual looking to make a significant impact in a growing company.The primary responsibility is to plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting functions including: financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, customer billing and accounts receivable, credit agreement reporting, accounts payable, fixed assets, taxes and external auditing. Manage financial reporting and the monthly close process.Produce monthly analysis including detailed variance analysis.Produce compliance reporting for lender.Manage customer billing and collections.Manage accounting for fixed assets.Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.Manage annual audit and financial report. Develop and maintain internal control guidelines, policies and procedures Coordinate with external service providers on tax filings.Ensure GAAP compliance including ASC 606 and deferred revenue.Ensure all necessary account reconciliations are completed monthly.Assist in budget development.Produce ad hoc reports as requested by management.Meets with other members of Blue Mountain to share work experience and knowledge.Qualifications CPA required.Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or advanced degree preferred10-15 years of relevant experienceProficient at Excel and PowerPointStrong problem solving and communication skills.High integrity and trustworthinessExperience with private equity and/or M&A is a plus.
