The role you’ll contribute:

Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials.

• Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Attends department meetings and education as required
• Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager
• As requested perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms
• Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties. Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately
• Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities
• Maintains safe and clean working environments, Ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations
• Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Takes responsibility for decisions, actions and results, and delivers on commitments
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Demonstrates patient/customer focused, compassionate behavior
• Cooperates and collaborates with team members and others
• Demonstrates effective communication skills with all team members, patients/customers and families
• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
• Demonstrates compliance with all federal, state and local laws; rules and government
• Complies with the Corporate Institutional Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines
• Conducts themselves in a calm and collected manner at all times
