Job Description
The Registered Nurse, RN, on the Rehab Unit is accountable for assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating care for patients served on the Acute Rehab Unit. The Registered Nurse practices professional nursing by utilizing the nursing process and adheres to standards set forth in the Nurse Practice Act of Pennsylvania and Grand View Health policies and procedures.


The Acute Rehab Unit includes 14 private rooms and is helping people recover from conditions such as Stroke, Orthopedic injury, Amputation, Trauma, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Other neurological disorders, Bilateral joint replacement, Single joint replacement with specific criteria.


The interdisciplinary teams consist of Registered Nurses, Physicians, Physical Therapist, OT’s, Speech Therapist, Dietitians and Social Worker.


Education and Experience


Nursing Diploma minimum requirement required


Licenses and Certifications


Registered Nurse in PA – Licensed, Upon hire, required


Basic Life Support (BLS), Upon hire, required
