Job Title: Registered Nurse RN Labor and Delivery / Mother Baby

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse RN to join our team in Glens Falls, NY. In this role, you will provide exceptional, personalized care to mothers and infants during labor and delivery as well as in the postpartum period. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and child.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide direct patient care and support for mothers and infants during labor and delivery, including monitoring vital signs and fetal heart rate, administering medication and anesthesia, and assisting with delivery.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records and communicate important patient information to appropriate team members.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, neonatologists, and other healthcare providers as needed to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate and support mothers and families in understanding infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
• Conduct screenings and assessments for both mother and baby and monitor for any complications or changes in condition.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery and/or Mother Baby care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• BLS and NRP certifications.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of New York.
