Registered Nurse (Rn), 5000 Bonus

Hastings Senior Health & Living, a 5-star rated, 72-bed long-term care campus, is hiring Full-Time and Part-Time Registered Nurses (RNs). In this role, you will work at a stellar campus that is well-known for having deficiency-free state surveys and a team that provides compassionate care for our residents. JAs a Registered Nurse, will will value your experience, insight and ideas.

There are Full-Time, and Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend. Hours: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

On-Call Hours: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm; 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm; 10:30pm - 7am

Full-Time is eligible for a $5,000 Bonus and Part-Time is eligible for a $2,500 Bonus.

Registered Nurse (RN) responsibilities:

• Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
• Supervises work performed by LPNs, TMAs, and Nursing Aides.
• Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
• Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as required.
• Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care plans for residents.
• Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
• Recognizes and manages common geriatric syndromes common to aging adults: cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, neurological, sensory and pain problems.

Registered Nurse (RN) skills and requirements:

• Ability to focus all efforts toward quality resident care.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have a current MN RN license and be in good standing.
• Skills in problem definition and resolution.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
