Role Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, assisting in surgeries, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
Registered Nurse Operating Room Responsibilities

• Educating patients and families about pre-operative and post-operative care
• Assisting in post-operative care and patient recovery
• Preparing the surgical room with all necessary equipment and supplies
• Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition
• Administering medications and fluids as directed by the physician
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure a safe and effective surgery
• Monitoring patients' vital signs and responses during surgery
• Preparing patients for surgery by performing assessments and obtaining medical histories
• Documenting patient care and surgical outcomes accurately
• Maintaining a sterile environment in the operating room

Registered Nurse Operating Room Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in MD
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of surgical procedures, instrumentation, and equipment
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an operating room setting
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Document Requirements

• Active MD RN license required
• AHA BLS required

Working Hours
Day shift need 7am - 5:30 pm OR RN with 6-weekday calls and 2-weekend calls.
Salary
Upto $2320 weekly gross
