About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Regional Services Senior Manager (Business Execution Senior Manager) within Regional Services Group. This role will sit within Consumer and Small Business Banking and focus upon Retail Branch Banking. This key leader will manage 8 direct reports and 60+ indirect reports across a large multi-state region, while supporting branches, leaders, partners and customers across mass markets, highly affluent markets, and higher risk markets. They will help to identify and mitigate risk in this complex space.

In this role, you will:
  • Engage functional leaders to obtain resources, influence outcomes, address conflict, and ensure alignment with Wells Fargo's policies and business line objectives relating to Branch Banking line of business
  • Recommend opportunities for Business Execution process improvement
  • Support Retail Branch Banking by Identifying potential risks when implementing change along with developing mitigation strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with and influence functional business partners, leaders, and executive management to provide support and drive strategic initiatives for the business
  • Determine appropriate strategies and actions of multiple business groups to meet moderate to high complex deliverables
  • Manage and develop a team of Business Execution Consultants and Managers while ensuring successful planning, integration, impasse resolution, and measurement of operations with moderate to high complexity and visibility
  • Support the Regional Bank Executive for the Atlantic Region. 1,102 branches, 12 Branch Banking Director regions and 100 District Managers in 9 states (Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina & Virginia) and the District of Columbia. Major metro cities/hubs in the region include Charlotte, New York City and Philadelphia
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Business Execution
  • Interpret procedures and processes, and provide leadership to strategize and execute a variety of programs, services, and initiatives that are significant in scope, complexity, and risk
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 6+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years Management experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience successfully influencing, leading, and negotiating with executives and/or senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
  • Experience managing managers as well as managing an indirect team of 50+ employees preferably in a geographically disbursed environment
  • Experience leading business proactively identifying risk, creating mitigation plans, and driving them into implementation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Direct working experience within Retail Branch Banking with extensive knowledge and understanding of Branch Banking compliance controls, risk management, and loss prevention
  • Strategic thinking leader with experience driving a large organization to achieve goals, while minimizing and mitigating risk and maintaining compliance
  • Experience in problem analysis, solution implementation, and change management, with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Creating and presenting effective and influential presentations/summaries to Executive or Senior Leaders
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives & priorities
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
