Job Description

Pain Management Group is looking for a full-time Regional Director of Operations to join our growing team. The Regional Director of Operations plays a critical role in the development and implementation of a well-balanced operating plan for multiple, hospital-based Pain Management clinics. This position is primarily responsible for leading the pain management clinic staff and providers to obtain the desired results while ensuring compliance with all hospital, state and federal regulations related to healthcare, quality assurance, safety, and labor laws.

What else you can expect:

  • Leads financial and business planning efforts to identify new business opportunities for PMG and their partners.
  • Interacts with the hospital leadership to manage budgets, assists with interviews for hiring new staff, and coordinates communications with PMG leadership.
  • Provides guidance and motivation to clinic leadership and staff to ensure the clinic has a trained and satisfied work team and lead the team in the efficient provision of clinic services that provide quality patient care, high customer satisfaction, and financial profitability.
  • Works closely with the manager and PMG training team to coordinate the orientation, training and integration of new staff members.
  • Visits customer sites to meet with manager, staff, and hospital leadership. Ensures needs are being met or exceeded.
  • Reviews clinic performance, identifies inefficiencies or deviations from standards, provides proper guidance to staff in a timely and professional manner.
  • Makes operational decisions, executes and delivers on those decisions, and provides feedback to hospital and PMG leadership.
  • Focuses on the growth of the business while strengthening and retaining existing client relationships.
  • Works closely with PMG and hospital marketing teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that are most effective for that region.
  • Assists hospital in the recruitment, interviewing and hiring of pain management clinic staff.
  • Maintains effective communications and business relationships with clients and provides detailed feedback to PMG leadership.
  • Develops clinic financial and performance forecasts and communicates deviations to PMG leadership.
  • Utilizes a solid understanding of financial and operational metrics driving clinical performance to meet or exceed budget expectations.


Qualifications

  • Ability to independently operate at a high level without direct oversight
  • Ability to manage multiple healthcare teams at one time
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and decision making skills
  • 5+ years management experience in a healthcare environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field desired
  • Proactive leader with a positive outlook & outgoing personality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to read and follow instructions in English
  • Strong analytical skills


Travel Expectations

  • This position requires up to 80% travel, mostly during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be required.
