The organization was founded in 2019 by Chelsea Jewish Lifecare (Chelsea and Peabody) and JGS Lifecare (Longmeadow). Other organizations part of the Legacy Lifecare family include Deutsches Altenheim (West Roxbury) and Sisters of Charity - Halifax's Elizabeth Seton Residence and Marillac Residence (Wellesley). Together, these organizations own and operate six skilled nursing facilities, four assisted living residences and two independent living residences across six campuses in Massachusetts. Additional services include home health care, hospice and palliative care, and adult day health care.
We are seeking a Recruitment Specialist to join our Metro Boston team!
Summary: The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle recruitment process, while maintaining a positive candidate experience. This position will create and implement recruitment processes and procedures to support business objectives of the affiliates. The Recruitment Specialist will work closely with the Executive Directors to create partnerships with local schools and community programs to expand our pool of qualified candidates.
Responsibilities
  • Collect all new hire paperwork and enter into ADP
  • Performs all pre-placement checks, while keeping an open line of communication with the candidate and hiring manager
  • Create standardized templates for job postings
  • Provide coaching and training to business unit leaders and hiring managers.
  • Attend local job fairs and graduations
  • Ensure orientation materials are up to date and facilitate onsite orientation
  • Post and refresh BU specific jobs across all recruitment platforms to maintain optimal visibility
  • Complete all tasks related to the recruitment process as requested by the Hiring Manager
  • Establish and maintain community relationships and job placement partnerships
  • Manage and allocate recruitment budget
  • Manage recruitment process to maximize applicant flow
  • Maintain professionalism and adheres to employee conduct sets forth in the employee handbook
  • Conduct weekly recruitment meetings to assess current vacancies, open requisitions, and success of onboarding
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment platforms, such as ADP and Indeed
  • Demonstrate excellent time management and efficiency in meeting established deadlines
  • Ability to mulit-task, work effectively and maintain organization
  • Extensive experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and tracking recruitment data
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between our West Roxbury and Jamaica Plain locations
  • Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal), conveying information with confidence and clarity
  • A minimum of five-years' experience in a fast-paced recruiting environment (a combination of education and experience will be considered

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships internally and externally
