Job Description
Diakon Lutheran Social Ministries is one of the premier employers in Pennsylvania and Maryland. General Responsibilities: Assists in the design, development and implementation of a marketing plan to increase public awareness of, and interest in Diakon Permanency Services. Works with Corporate Communications to develop, design and place advertisements in accordance with marketing plan; responds to interested family inquiries within 24 hours of initial inquiry. # Accepts telephone calls from potential applicants and shares program information while collecting information indicating the appropriateness of the applicant. ## Schedules appointments to meet potential applicants, in their home, within five (5) working days of the initial telephone contact, pending family#s availability. Childline # DHS FBI clearance results required prior to beginning employment. Mandatory Covid-19 Vaccination Program-need covid vaccine card or file for an exemption. # Education/Training: A Bachelor#s Degree in human services or marketing normally required; Master#s Degree preferred. # Experience: A minimum of three (3) years# related experience normally required.# # ADA: Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, reach, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills. Compensation and Benefits: Diakon offers a competitive compensation and benefits package for Full-Time and Part-Time employees. Day 1 Benefits#include medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage.
