What You Get To Do


OppFi seeks a Recruiting and Early Career Associate to discover and connect with diverse candidates for our internship program, customer service platforms, and corporate/tech teams. Reporting to our Recruiting Manager, you will attract, find, and hire qualified candidates as a true partner to leaders across the business. You'll continue to promote efficiency in our recruiting processes as an expert in best practices and inventive hiring methods.


  • Define recruiting strategy to engage passive candidates through sourcing messages and creative outreach.
  • Attend networking events, meetups, and conferences to attract talent and stay connected with the market.
  • Organize and bring ad hoc recruiting projects to completion while documenting the results and takeaways.
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process including, but not limited to, sourcing, screening, interview process management, maintaining candidate relationships, creating and extending offers, and closing candidates.
  • Lead with a data-driven approach to assess pipeline quality, hiring process efficiency, and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Create a sourcing and partnership strategy to increase diversity in candidate pipelines.
  • Support campus recruiting strategy on an annual basis
  • Proactively identify closing strategies for offers and provide candidates with the right information to help make their decision as easy as possible; provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Improve and execute OppFi internship program on an annual basis.
  • Proactively build a candidate pipeline.
  • Full-cycle corporate/tech and campus recruiting
  • Building and developing strong partnerships with college and university programs and diverse organizations to strengthen and promote OppFi’s brand
  • Partner with marketing and talent thought leaders to identify and promote attraction plans.
  • Work with hiring teams to create an inclusive interview process and advise on best practices.
What you will bring to the team:


  • Proven results engaging passive candidates quickly and through creative sourcing strategies.
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting corporate and tech
  • Ability to form and maintain University relationships with top-tier institutions.
  • Experience working within an ATS
  • 2+ years of internship recruiting experience in a growing company.
  • 2+ years of experience in sourcing
  • DEI-focused recruiting experience.
  • Networking-oriented as part of your recruiting strategy.
  • Experience prioritizing multiple searches and projects.


Reports to: Recruitment Manager


Job Level: Associate


The minimum salary for this role is $70,000. The total compensation package includes eligibility for performance-based bonuses as well as a 1-time equity grant based on level.


The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by a myriad of factors including, but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, and other relevant business considerations.
