Help at Home is hiring a Recruiter/Onboarding Specialist in Ohio - Come join our team!
Starting pay ranges $18-21 an hour!

The Recruiter will develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers, source, interview, recap and communicate hiring decisions with hiring team etc. In addition will assist hiring, on-boarding, etc. of all Branch Operations staff positions across Eastern Michigan and communicate timely updates to Recruiting Manager and other Hiring Managers accordingly

A Typical Day For a Recruiter/Onboarding Specialist Includes
  • Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
  • Ex: background checks, tax documents, and state required trainings
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Reviews new client onboarding packet to ensure accuracy.
  • Forwards larger issues to leadership
  • Accomplishes Recruiting Department and overall Organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks
  • Verifies that client schedule is accurate and fits within the authorization limits. Adds information to client and caregiver profiles.
  • Reviews field staff profiles to ensure all required credentials have been collected and filed appropriately.
  • Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • Schedules trainings and orientation
  • Fixes small issues and provides feedback to leadership regarding the accuracy of the onboarding process
Minimum Qualifications
  • Access to insured and reliable transportation
  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred
  • At least 2 years of high volume recruitment or talent acquisition and onboarding experience preferred
  • Professional communication and organization skills
  • Valid driver's license
