Job Title: Recruiter, Temporary Division

Reports to: Director of Talent Acquisition

Location: Hybrid in Washington, DC (2 days Remote, 3 days in office)

Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

As a Recruiter, responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, engaging, and managing candidates through the recruiting life cycle to place them into roles with our nonprofit clients. A Recruiter is considered a talent acquisition and management subject matter expert.


Recruiters are responsible for proactively building a pipeline of nonprofit job-seekers so that they can fill jobs quickly and efficiently. Working in the Temporary Division, you will primarily work with unemployed job-seekers, filling roles that are looking to hire immediately. Additional opportunities to fill entry and mid-level direct-hire roles also arise frequently.


Recruiters partner with Account Managers to understand our client's needs, submit candidates and collaborate through the placement process. Recruiters have the opportunity to partner with nonprofits across the nation, with a primary focus on the DC, NYC, Chicago and SF areas.

Essential Functions:

· Proactively reach out to candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed Sourcing, and our internal AI software, to build a pipeline of candidates to fill open positions

· Schedule and conduct phone and face to face interviews.

· Write and manage job postings.

· Interview effectively so as to understand the technical depths of each and every candidate you meet.

· Work with our client-facing Account Management team to understand client needs and requirements, take those requirements and identify and match them with appropriate candidates.

· Put together presentation of resumes and recommendations for clients

· Schedule interviews between clients and candidates.

· Extend job offers to candidates and coordinate all necessary onboarding documentation for Operations Team.

· Oversees and responds to concerns regarding the employee’s performance for the client including coaching and removal from the job assignment, as needed.

· Assist with ensuring timely submission of weekly timesheets by active temporary employees.

· Track interactions with job seekers and active candidates through ATS

· Develop strong relationships with candidates so their first preference is to work with CNP/PNP, whether actively looking for a job, on assignment, or as a passive candidate.

· Be honest and respectful of anyone and everyone you interact with.

· Offer high quality customer service, internally and externally.


Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

· 1+ years of recruiting experience or proven ability to work in high-volume, production environment

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

· Entrepreneurial with a commitment to growth

· Strong computer skills and able to learn new technology quickly

· Clear communicator with strengths in customer service and anticipating questions

· Proven performance succeeding in an organization with clear and aggressive goals

· Team player with a positive attitude

· Demonstrated ability to manage time and juggle competing priorities

· Quick study with affinity for detail and willingness to learn

· Problem solver with strong analytical skills

· Proven interpersonal skills in a team environment
