Recreation Therapist :

Recreation Therapist use the creative process to help their patients find a sense of confidence and security, express deep feelings, recognize new aspects of their own psychology, and treat specific conditions including behavioral disorders, mental disorders, and trauma.

Benefit Highlights:

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.

CPR and CPI training must be completed prior to beginning work. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime

ATR or ATR-BC (Art Therapist Registered- Board Certification) by the AATA Art Therapy Credentials Board; or R-DMT or BC-DMT(Registered or Board Certified Dance Movement Therapist) by the American Dance Therapy Association; or RDT (Registered Drama Therapist) by the North American Drama Therapy Association; or REAT (Registered Expressive Arts Therapist) by the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association; or MT-BC (Music Therapy-Board Certified) by the Certification Board for Music Therapist; or C-IAYT (Certified Yoga Therapist) by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (preferred)
