Job Description
Acadian Companies is currently seeking candidates for the entry level full-time position of Records Production Clerk. The Records Production clerk will process requests for patient and billing records. This position is located at the North University location and reports directly to the Director of Enterprise Compliance. This position does not offer remote or work-from-home options.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Answering & returning phone calls pertaining to records requests & subpoenas;
  • Reviewing and responding to emails within the Medical Records shared inbox;
  • Ability to adhere to productivity goals and departmental guidelines
  • Produce documents to the requesting party via email and regular mail;
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Other Records Production duties and responsibilities as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS- Basic computer skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Entering requests in to the production platform;
  • Research within multiple electronic records systems to locate requested medical records, bills and documents, communicate with internal departments to verify complete documents, upload records and complete proper notes in the records production platform;

  • Review record requests and subpoenas to ensure HIPAA & legal compliance;
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
  • Review and complete affidavits and direct questions as needed;
  • Completing internal, facility/exempt and patient records requests as assigned;
  • Excellent communication and customer relation skills
  • Entering payments for records production requests;
  • Communicate with requesters as needed to obtain proper request documentation;
