At FutureCare our Front Desk Receptionist play a key role in representing the organization with a high level of professionalism and care. As the First Impression of FutureCare, our Front Desk Receptionist are knowledgeable, helpful, and personable with a keen awareness of the day-day facility operations.
- Must be available to work Saturdays 8:30am-4:30pm & Sundays 4:30pm-8:30pm
- Previous experience working in a skilled nursing facility or a medical facility a plus
- Proven experience operating a multi-line phone system
- Must have a welcoming personality and a professional demeanor
- Works closely with the Dietary department to assist with meal notices team member lunch payments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Sort, organize and forward all mail to appropriate staff and residents
- Greet all visitors, vendors, and other staff members to the facility
- Highly detailed and organized with the ability to multitask
- Ability to maintain professional working relationships
- Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Guide or direct all visitors to their proper location
- Explain all Covid guidelines and procedures for entering the facility
- Perform additional clerical duties such as typing tasks as identified including letters, reports, forms, and other correspondences as assigned
- Abide by the standards identified in FutureCare’s Statement of Corporate Ethics and the Corporate Compliance Plan.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A minimum of at least 1 year of clerical or medical office experience required
- Maintain visitor sign-in sheets on a daily basis
- Answers incoming phone calls. Take messages or forward calls to voice mail system
