The Receiving Clerk ensures all product coming into the building is appropriately checked in, recorded, and stored in the facility. Typical duties include loading and unloading trucks, verifying incoming material, entering receipts into our MRP system (JobBoss), material movement, supporting production material handling and shipping support as required, inventory cycle counts, dunnage preparation and storage, vendor returns preparation.
Essential Job Functions

• Safely operate forklifts (both sit-down and stand-up), cranes, pallet jacks, stretch wrapper and scale.
• Enter receipt records, maintain lot tracking database, prepare routine reports and/or paperwork, and file shipping & receiving records.
• Verify incoming bills of lading and packing slips have accurate quantities, descriptions and destinations prior to unloading and receiving incoming materials.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Deliver product and/or dunnage to appropriate departments and/or assigned holding areas in proper condition.
• Verify dimensional inspection process and inspect for shipping damage of incoming materials and notifies management. May process return shipments to and from customers and/or suppliers.
• Support material handling and shipping role as required.
• Sort, count, package, label, ensure, unpack, and/or log inventory which is shipped, received or inventoried.
• Follow established departmental policies, procedures and objectives, continuous improvement initiatives and safety/environmental guidelines.
• Tool room support: Process incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.

Skills/Abilities Required

• Ability to prepare routine paperwork.
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving methods and procedures.
• Ability to receive and stock goods and manipulate and lift heavy objects.
• Ability to read and write English. Perform basic mathematics.
• 1stshift hours**: 6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with additional overtime as required on Saturdays
• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety. Pallet jack and scale operation.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
• Ability to maintain, understand and follow quality and safety standards.
• Tools Inc. certification of crane operation required.
• Tools Inc. certification of forklift operation required.
• Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers. Detect and report problems.
