Job Description

LINC, a division of Universal Logistics, is seeking quality freight checkers out of Racine, WI. Now is a great time to start with a growing company. We are offering DIRECT HIRE positions in a variety of departments, depending on experience.

Duties Include:

- Tagging Freight

- Generating Labels

- Verifying packing slips

- Basic computer data entry

- Occasional heavy lifting

Qualifications:

- Basic computer knowledge

- Ability to lift 40+ lbs

Shift Times:

1st - 6:00am to 3:30pm at $18/hour to start

2nd - 3:00pm to 1am at $18.50/hour to start

Universal Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This position will be responsible for keeping the warehouse organized and safe. The Warehouse Clerk will also be responsible for receiving and storing all incoming materials. This position will be working with our experienced Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains stock levels in all warehouses
  • Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse, including the floor, shelves, bins, etc.
  • Assists in picking orders when needed
  • Ensures that all materials are received and stored properly
  • Works with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that all orders are received and stored properly
  • Ensures that all paperwork is completed accurately and timely
  • Assists in maintaining inventory control of all stock items
  • Keeps the warehouse clean and free of trash
  • Keeps the warehouse organized and safe
  • Other duties as assigned by Sturtevant, WI management.
  • Organizes warehouse space

Education & Experience Requirements
·High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
·Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
·Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $18.50 per hour
