Job Brief
Responsible for supporting the application of technical standards for new product launches and reformulations, compiling and interpreting required documentation to support product launches, and assisting with assigned R&D projects.
Job Summary

• Responsible for supporting the application of technical standards for new product launches and reformulations, compiling and interpreting required documentation to support product launches, and assisting with assigned R&D projects. Position is also responsible for raw material data maintainence (e.g. Genesis software), supporting activities related to Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and building guidance documents to contribute to process improvement.

Essential Job Functions

• Supports Amazon and Wercsmart activities including but not limited to COAs creation and data entry. Creates guidance documents to contribute to process improvement.
• Executes other R&D related duties.
• Enters and maintains raw material data; e.g. Genesis software.
• Supports the application of technical standards for new product launches and reformulations. Communicates effectively with appropriate parties and internal stakeholders to confirm all deliverables are met, including but not limited to: compiling project status reports, request change controls, document collection, recording and following up on important action items from meetings/calls.
• Collaborates within Research & Development, Quality, Product Development, Regulatory, external suppliers, manufacturers, and other R&D entities to compile all required documentation to support product launches, including but not limited to: specifications, nutritional profiles, allergens, applicable certifications, clinical studies, price, and leadtime. Tracks sample requests for internal evaluation and benchtop work. Coordinates and submits samples for chemical analysis; reviews and interprets corresponding reports. Support Supply Chain with the evaluation of alternate and secondary sources as needed.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor Degree in the Sciences; Chemistry or Biology a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years in a Quality GMP environment a plus

Specific Or Additional Skills

• Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment with high ambiguity
• Solid math skills and able to analyze data for accuracy and correctly interpret results
• Flexibility in managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines with quality results
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage large quantities of documentation

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, LICENSES, ETC

• Knowledge of microbiology and analytical chemistry a plus
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 111 and 117 section of FDA regulatory industry requirements a plus
