Houry Range for Level 3: $22.28 – $24.62/hour + quarterly bonus


Do you have customer service or call center experience in healthcare or health-insurance related industries? Do you have some understanding of medical terminology and or CPT/ICD codes? If so, this position may be for you.


We are looking to expand our Call Center in San Antonio!

Job Summary


Gathers, collects, records, tracks and verifies data and information from multiple sources. Compiles, reviews and analyzes claimant information. Uses software to schedule claimant appointments and document pertinent information. Delivers exceptional customer service at all customer touch points.


In This Role, You Will


  • Participates in team performance reviews.
  • Maintain integrity and organization of case files
  • Data entry of claimant information, appointments, case files etc.
  • Adheres to the compliance policies of the department and organization (i.e. minimal absences, appropriate attire, readiness for work, adherence to the department working schedule, follows QTC policies regarding personal electronic devices, and other policies as outlined by the organization).
  • Triage of all cases in accordance with documented triage procedures
  • Maintains a thorough understanding and effectively demonstrates the ability to perform job functions during such conditions.
  • Responsible for the daily monitoring and corrections of the department work queue(s).
  • Accurately obtains and processes patient demographic, medical information for registrations. CSR will be expected to maintain a 98% accuracy rate, in accordance with Best Practice Standards.
  • Be responsible for scheduling and following up on claimant appointments
  • Answers the phone courteously and professionally and as per department guidelines, responds to inquiries, and refers all calls as appropriate.
  • Independently prioritizes CRR workflow to meet deadlines and maximize productivity.


We’re Looking For Candidates With The Following Skills/background


  • Works well with people; team player
  • Organization and multi-tasking: ability to organize, plan, and coordinate multi-tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow through
  • Possess strong computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Ideally, You Will Have


  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience - VA related preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT-4 & ICD-10 codes is desirable.
  • Customer Service or Call Center Experience in a medical, radiology and/or health insurance-related service industry
