Radiographer Jobs

Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced state carded Radiographers - Level II for work in and around the Beaumont, TX area. Required duties are associated with NDE of materials in accordance to referencing code.

• Must have valid drivers license
• Must have TWIC card
• Per diem is not available for this position, local candidates preferred
• Travel within Texas required up to 40%
• Must have state card
• Documentation needed: classroom training records, OJT hours, past certifications, and resume

Qualification Standards

• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Functional Requirements

• Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
• Organize and report test results
• Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
• Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment
• Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
• Calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results

Physical Involvement

Employee may be required to do the following: Climbing, vessel entry, respirator use

Mental Involvement

Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards, planning work and selecting proper equipment/tools needed to complete work, following oral and/or written directions, reading and writing with or without accommodation, ability to recognize and report safety hazards, ability to recognize and report violations of company policy, including but not limited to the company EEO and Workplace Harassment & Discrimination policies.
