X-Ray Technician - Part Time

Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Part Time X-Ray Technician to join our team. As an X-Ray Technician, you will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures. Your role will be crucial in helping our medical team diagnose and treat patients accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure patient safety by following all radiation safety protocols
• Performs routine maintenance, diagnosis malfunction, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with medical team to determine next steps for patient care
• Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images
• Operate X-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients

Requirements:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Completion of a recognized X-ray Technician program
• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
