Race Tech (2015-2016 Season)

The Race Tech is responsible for race equipment and race building organization as directed by the Race Manager or Snowsports Director. She/he will set courses as needed for outside race practices as well as assisting with race day needs. She/he will set up and run timing equipment when necessary. Reports to the Race Manager and the Director of Snowsports.
Requirements
Essential Duties

• Assist in course setting and timing
• Assist with setting courses and running timing
• Other Duties as assigned
• Assist in the running of major race events

Qualifications

• Has strong course setting skills (or willing to learn)
• Understands and can run race timing equipment

Special Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and work for extended periods
• Must own appropriate ski/snowboard gear
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 50lbs
• Able to ski with up to 50lbs of gates
• Must be able to work for extended periods outside in all weather conditions
• Must work weekends and holidays
