The Role

As a foundational Quality Technician at Moxion Power, you’ll support manufacturing by ensuring product and process quality is sustained. You’ll verify incoming and in-process materials are meeting Moxion’s specifications and also be responsible for coordination of MRB activities, data analysis and input as well as material dispositions. You’ll provide routine check-ups of tool calibration as well as work closely with the quality engineers to help monitor and improve product quality.

What you'll do:

  • Inspection/verification of in-process, Moxion built material
  • Troubleshoot and perform rootcause investigation/resolution of daily quality issues
  • Provide mechanical measurement support to identify or solve potential material issues
  • Provide data input and output reports to assist in quality improvement activities
  • Manage nonconforming material through the MRB process to ensure that nonconforming material is identified, appropriately dispositioned, tracked, and reported
  • Proficient at root cause analysis, identify and implement short/long term countermeasures
  • Coordinate calibration activities, working with outside vendor to ensure that all test and measurement equipment is calibrated prior to use on the manufacturing floor

Skills to be successful:

  • 2+ years experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
  • Versed on Microsoft office

Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.

Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
