Job description
- Guides the activities for the verification of all OEM recalls, provides external communications letters, if required, and ensures segregation of affected material held at the distribution site.
- Provides governance of quality related policy by coordinating the integration of Group Policies, Procedures, Processes and applicable regulations within the Distribution organization and Services Americas.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Quality
- Provides support for completion of Root Cause Analysis and Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Develops and executes internal audit plan to schedule and provides information and metrics to focus operations on corrective and preventive action plans for the Distribution Operations.
- Ensures the quality management system, inclusive of the AS91XX Quality Control and Procedures Manuals, is current, confirms operational compliance via audit / reporting, as appropriate, and initiates corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and report departmental and operational KPI's as they relate to Quality Assurance
- Responsible for maintaining the list of tools for calibration and notification of operations when calibration due within the Distribution operations.
- Develops positive relationships and effective lines of communication with suppliers, regulators and group colleagues.

Job requirements
- Knowledge of Lean / Continuous Improvement Practices
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering or related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- 2 years' experience in a quality assurance role in a FAA Part 145 environment is preferred.
- 10 years' experience in quality assurance with at least 4 years of those in an aviation parts distribution operation and AS9120 audit.
- Proficient with Microsoft applications; MSOutlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Highly experienced and proficient at problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Strong record keeping and organizational skills

- Ability to travel domestically 10-20% of the time and internationally 5% of the time
