You’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of aviation repair and maintenance through training and preparation. As a Quality Management System Manager you’ll develop, implement, and monitor business unit quality policies and procedures consistent with company and strategic business unit objectives to include managing strategic business unit quality activities and resources. What you’ll do:
  • Maintain currency on regulatory requirements and quality standards. What skills you will use:
  • Lead and participate in the business unit quality audit and corrective action process by providing training, facilitation, recommendations and leadership, as required, to achieve optimal results. Assist external auditors from various quality associations. Monitors, reviews and conducts sub-contractor audits in liaison with supplier development
  • Your Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or aerospace engineering; or equivalent / A&P certificate. Benefits that make life better:

  • Continuously monitor quality data (warranty, product rectification, customer satisfaction, etc.) for improvement opportunities across the business unit while working with the business unit strategic group to select, manage, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Your extensive planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Analyze, evaluate, and present information concerning factors such as business situations, production capabilities, remanufacturing problems, statistical trends, and proposed process changes. Reviews factors in light of quality of product and reliability of quality during production.
