Read more about us at: venicefamilyclinic.org Help make a difference for communities in need and join our Venice Family Clinic team as a Quality Improvement Coordinator. With guidance and direction from the Director of Quality Improvement, you will perform a variety of administrative functions to support the Venice Family Clinic Quality Management Program and Plan. The Quality Improvement Coordinator will: * Assist in the coordination of QI committees and workgroups. * Work in collaboration with operational and clinical teams to carry out QI activities and achieve goals set out in the QI Management and Program Plan. * Perform a variety of roles including team facilitator, data analyst, trainer, and administrative support. * Utilize practical knowledge of tools and techniques of Continuous Quality Improvement, including analysis and interpretation of data using Electronic Health Records (EHR), disease registries or similar data collection systems. * Provide staff support to the Quality Improvement Committee, the Medical Practice Committee of the Board of Directors, and the Leadership of the organization in matters of quality improvement. * Collaboratively develop comprehensive evaluation plans as appropriate to program or grant goals and objectives. * Work with stakeholders to develop and implement evaluation frameworks for monitoring and evaluation of grants. * Utilize data to assess effectiveness and highlight areas for improvement, and develop summative and formative reports for internal and external stakeholders. * Work on any grants within our SUMMIT and Common Ground programs. Qualifications

Required: * Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, business, healthcare administration, health information management, engineering, or other relevant field. * Minimum 1 year of work experience in healthcare, and some FQHC experience. * Knowledge of healthcare systems. * Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and work in a team environment. * Very effective oral and written communications skills, including public speaking experience. * Knowledge and/or ability to use electronic medical records. * Problem solving skills and the ability to make routine recommendations. * Experience running reports and compiling data, and math skills sufficient to prepare spreadsheets, run charts, and analyze data. * Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. * Skill at working independently; Organizing priorities with a minimum of supervision. * CA Driver's License.
