JOB DESCRIPTION-Quality Control Specialist

You will be responsible for all activities related to in-process quality control adjustments necessary to ensure that manufactured and packaged products meet and/or exceed customer expectations for quality, performance, and appearance in this role. You will be reporting to the quality control manager.

Key Responsibilities-Quality Control Specialist

Salary-Quality Control Specialist $45-55K DOE

• Perform Dirt Check Filtration process on Finished Goods as required by Customer
• Performs all tests of in-process batches for physical characteristics and review with the Quality Specialist the necessary adjustments to bring them into specification. Responsibility also includes proper documentation of the batch ticket, the quality control card data, and in Navision.
• Must review all adjustments to the final product with the Quality Specialist prior to can-out and shipment.
• Responsible for conducting required Quality testing on incoming raw materials and finished products. Laboratory equipment use includes, but not limited to, the Gas Chromatograph, KarlFischer titrations, and Anton Paar / C & P viscometers.
• Make batch adjustments to production batches, as required by the Quality Specialist.
• Responsible for quality inspections and the adjustment of Finished Goods and Intermediate batches during the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Quality Control Specialist
• Spraymation experience a plus.
• Minimum high school diploma and 3 years' experience in a quality, manufacturing and/or laboratory environment.
• Computer literacy desired for recertification tracking and Lactec back-up requirements.
