Quality Control Inspector- Mechanical

Summary

The Quality Control Inspector report to Corporate Quality Control Manager and Facility Manager and shall monitor and coordinate the quality control program to ensure that all requirements as specified in the program are achieved.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Quality Control Inspectors shall review the results of work conducted by the Contractor’s own workforce and subcontractors for all building services to report performance levels and degree of compliance with the quality control plan.

Ensure all maintenance, repair services are implemented and carried out in a manner consistent with C&W policies and client directives. Ensure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and are bid out as required and confirm invoices match contract pricing.

In Addition

• Ensure prompt requests for service requests from building occupants and for the implementation of ongoing contract programs to address and resolve needs and problems
• Complete understanding of management contract, vendor agreements, and other building/facility contracts and all requirements contained therein
• Proactively inspect the facility, systems, rooms, common areas, etc. and report back any findings or issues to the Facility Manager

• Collect, analyze, and prepare reports of such statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives
• Monitor and ensure that tenants and vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate all claims as required
• Supervise all maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions of the property

IMPORTANT CERTIFICATION

The Quality Control Inspectors Shall Possess (at a Minimum)

• A Quality Improvement Associate certification from the American Society for Quality or US Army Corp Engineer’s Quality Control Management Certification
• At least three years of recent experience in managing a quality control program for a facility of at least 1.5 million square feet.

Important Experience

• CMMS/Work Order Management experience is preferred
• Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and all facets of property operation and building management preferred
