The Leidos Civil NISC IV Team has an opening for Quality Assurance Specialist.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the User Acceptance Testing and documentation of software in accordance with application specific testing plans.
• Provide data quality assurance support and in-depth research using aviation application tools and communication with various inspector’s, NTSB resources, pilots, investigators, and other stakeholders as needed.
• Support the group by facilitating and documenting meetings.
• Provide data quality support and analysis for aviation data systems.
• Provide quality assurance and analysis support for database integrity that includes, but is not limited to duplicate records maintenance, data verification, system access, data protection, etc.
• Provide support for future system development and/or modernization efforts within the branch.

Basic Qualifications

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Strong communication (written / verbal) skills
• Experience with data analysis, quality assurance techniques, and records (database) maintenance
• Understanding of FAA applications and processes
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting safety investigations

Pay Range:

Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
