We are looking for a collaborative Quality Assurance Manager to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for working closely with client and contractors to improve their quality management system. You’ll have full managerial responsibility for a given scope of work and the direction, control, and utilization of a staff of professionals and support personnel. In this role, you will develop Quality Management System Plans (QMSP) for projects and on behalf of clients, provide training of personnel and contractors, and perform internal and external audits. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage QA activities as per the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) guidelines
- Verify compliance with any applicable Code of Federal Regulation (CFR).
- Develop contract language for QA provisions.
- Maintain records for audits and Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) activities.
- Verify compliance with Buy America requirements as needed.
- Develop QMSP supporting documents
- Participate in FDOT, FTA, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) or other required audits and reporting.
- Develop, maintain, and update QMSPs
- Provide Continuous Process Improvement recommendations.
- At least 10 years’ experience in Quality Assurance Management
- An ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with client and contractor/tradesmen in performance of duties
