GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION The Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector ensures that quality standards are met and that the proper procedures are followed in manufacturing operations. The QA inspector enforces that FDA and company specific standards are met 100% of the time by following a strict set of quality guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Adherence to all company procedures/SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)

Perform sampling of in-process and raw materials

Release of materials

Perform Daily Release of Purified Water

Perform Daily Release of Purified

Oversite MFG Operation

Approval of Finished Product Shipments

Apply appropriate status tags to equipment as required

Perform cleaning verifications

Approve Sample Requests

Inspections on Labels/ Components

Perform and review In-Process Checks

SOP/ Work Instruction Initiation/Modification as pertains to QAI Group

Annual Inspection of Retains

Tagging Released Materials in Warehouse (Green Release Tag and Component Inventory Cards)

Release Staged Batches to GMP from Warehouse

Deliver samples to Analytical/ Formulations/ Project Management

Major/Minor Clean Room Releases for Manufacturing

Filing out sample requests and arranging Sampling Schedules (Obtaining Spec and filing out Sample request forms and stickers for each sample)

Adhoc Inspections as they arise for internal investigations

Investigation Writing as required

Executed Batch Review as required

Working on Sampling Statistical Form to use for visual capsule defects

Equipment Cleaning Verification and Validation Sampling

Preparing and Shipping samples directly to contract laboratory when required

Fill out Green Release Tags for any approved In-House Release testing performed by QAI

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize work to meet deadlines

Must be extremely detail oriented

Must be extremely organized

Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel

Must be able to read, write and understand English Language
